The world was still so strange! It was full of new scents, new sights, new sounds, new everything! Volcanickit craned his neck up to stare at the top of the Smooth Stone. "Wonder what that's for." He asked himself out loud. The black kit padded past the rock, and peered into the warrior's den. "Hmm," He muttered. "Intresting." He would much ratehr explore than stay in the nursury all say. However, he hoped he wouldn't see any otehr cats; they were so scary without his mother around!

When Lavenderheart passed by the centre of the camp, she noticed a small kit wandering there. All of a sudden, Lavenderheart panicked and wondered whether the kit was lost or something. Then, she relaxed a little when the little kit stopped and gazed at the Smooth Stone. “Aww… The little kit wants to be a leader when he grows up,” the white she-cat purred in a cute way, starting to decide what she would do next. Should she help the kitten get back to his mother?
Lavenderheart approached the kit to have a better look at him. Oh, it must be one of Swanwing’s kits, Lavenderheart remembered. The white warrior remembered that Swanwing had delivered her kits when she was out sight-seeing. “Hello there,” Lavenderheart meowed in her gentlest voice, not wanting to scare the little kit. Seeing the kit, Lavenderheart couldn’t help but remember when she was a kit. She had so much fun in her barn until a fire occurred and took her parents from her. This kit must be lucky enough to have his parents by his side, she thought, looking at the kit with playful eyes, hoping that he would reply her.

Just what he feared.
Volcanickit heard a soft voice behind him, one that was not one of his sibling's or his mother's. He yelped, terrified that if he turned around, it would be all over. "Help me!" He dived out of the way of harm, a flying ball of black fur. A cloud of dust puffed up, frightening the kit more. He lunged again, this time landing on a leaf. "No where's safe!" He panicked, fearing the worst. One more dive...and he landed right on top of some cat's paws.

Lavenderheart felt that something was going to fall over and quickly put out her paws to catch that particular thing. It wasn't a thing, it's a frightened little kitten! she thought, afraid that the kit might be injured or scared by her. "It's alright there, little kit," Lavenderheart purred like a mother nursing her kits, "You're fine with me."
"Oh, I see, you don't want anybody to see what you are doing, right?" she continued, putting down the black kitten. "It's alright, I won't tell anybody what are you doing." Lavenderheart had to say that to gain the kit's trust and then send him back safely home.

Volcanickit braced himself for the end of everything. Goodbye, cruel, new world! My presence wasn't known enough to miss me, so farewell! Volcanickit looked up, to see that he was alive! He felt as though he could do an Irish jig, if he wasn't so clumsy. "Oh, uh," He stammered. "I'm sorry! So, so sorry!" He wriggled, trying to get back on his four paws, but had little sucess. "Well, I don't mind people seeing what I'm doing, but...I guess I'm just a little shy, and afraid to hurt anyone's feelings." Would this cat be mad at him?

"It is alright, little one, I don't mind," Lavenderheart purred in her gentlest tone, hoping that this kit was alright. This black kitten was shy and it reminded Lavenderheart of her sister, Marigold. "What's your name? Mine's Lavenderheart, pretty long name huh?" After saying that, the white warrior paused to lick herself. {{Museless... }

A small white kit crouched low to the ground in the nursery. She spied her brother, Volcanickit, talking with one of the warriors, though Aurorakit didn't know which one. She crept slowly forward, trying to be unseen by her mother, Swanwing. "Gotcha!" squealed Aurorakit as she pounce on top of her brother. "Now I can rule the forest! Mua-ha-ha!" Aurorakit was playing of coarse, and rolled off her brother's back. "I bet ya didn't even see me coming out of the nursery! Did I do a good job?" Then she looked up at the big warrior that was staring down at them. "Who is this cat, Volcanickit? Is she a good cat?"
