Cute and charming are the two words that come to mind when looking at Crystalpelt. Crystalpelt’s pelt shines and glimmers in a beautiful silver-gray colour when the sunlight hits it. At night, Crystalpelt’s beautiful silver-gray pelt shimmers under the gentle moonlight which reflects the light back, resembling a smooth-surface crystal. Crystalpelt’s fur is thick and perfect to overcome leafbare. Her tail is long and bushy, covered by longer fur than that of the rest of her body. Crystalpelt has a pair of watery dark blue eyes which sparkle at the sight of moonlight. Her nose is pink in color and she has soft white paws which make no sound as she walks. Her silver-gray fur is always clean and neat and she has muscular legs which can take her anywhere she desires to go without feeling tired at all. Even as a kit, she can detect the slightest movement in the darkest area. Her eyes are just so brilliant that they can catch every move of her prey. Crystalpelt’s sensing abilities are not supposed to be questioned at all as she can sense danger or prey as well as any cat. Her ears are small and hidden in view, but do not be fooled by this appearance because her hearing is as good as any senior warrior’s. Her claws are very sharp and curve slightly to give her a good grip of the ground when she needs to stand up proud in ferocious. Although Crystalpelt is one of the smaller and shorter cats in ThunderClan, she can run as swift as lightning. Crystalpelt is a cute and charming she-cat with many good physical features.

Crystalpelt is well-known of her calmness and quiet nature. She can be said to be a shy cat but other cats who envy her will think that she is rather proud of her cute and charming appearance. But actually, Crystalpelt is a happy-go-lucky she-cat who is always ready to lend a paw for those who are in need. She is a diligent kitten who never gives up easily and keeps trying whenever she learns the types of herbs. Crystalpelt can be said to be an intelligent one as she learns quickly. Moreover, she has a good memory. She is also very observant as she takes note of everything happening around her. She is very smart in handling conflicts between her denmates and friends because she always thinks on the behalf of another cat and persuades the quarreling cats to think about the causes and effects of a problem. Crystalpelt is very calm and matured, despite the fact that she is very young – because in other words, Crystalpelt is independent and capable of taking care of herself. Crystalpelt is an obedient cat because she always obeys the order given by the leader without hesitation. She often listens to her mother, Sapphirecloud’s advice no matter in organizing herself or handling friends. She will make use of the older ones’ advices which make her a likable cat in the camp. There is one weakness that Crystalpelt carries and it is her over protectiveness. She really cares about her friends and sometimes, if one of her friend goes missing for a while and comes back to camp all of a sudden, she will give her friend a long lecture about being careful in the woods and making sure that her friend was unharmed. There is no doubt that Crystalpelt is a cat who cares about everyone.

Kithood:
Crystalkit was born into ThunderClan in a litter of three when it was approaching leafbare. She had a sister named Rainbowkit and a brother called Waterkit. Although they were born during the cold leafbare, their mother Sapphirecloud took extra good care of the three kits and somehow, they managed to survive the three moons of bitter cold. A few days after the first signs of newleaf, the kits’ father, Silverstone was badly injured in a battle. After hearing the news, Crystalkit kept hoping that her father would recover and visit them as soon as possible but unfortunately, after a day of lying in the medicine cat’s den, Silverstone went to join their warrior ancestors. Crystalkit and her siblings were very sad to have lost their dearest father because he was a fair and kind father who wanted the best of his kits. During that period of time, Crystalkit and her two siblings were feeling very down and did not have the mood to play or have the appetite to eat. Sapphirecloud noticed her kits’ behavior and one night before she tucked them into bed, she told them that Silverstone was a brave and loyal ThunderClan warrior and he would not like his kits to be sad everyday because of him. Then, Crystalkit realized that her mother was right and started to act like her old self again. That is why she is so matured, as if her mother’s wisdom and hopeful nature were inherited by Crystalkit and is pulsing through her blood, now.

Medicine Cat Apprenticeship:
Since the death of Silverstone, her father, Crystalkit vowed to be a medicine cat and so, she was elected to become a medicine cat apprentice as the leader of ThunderClan that time seemed to see through her thoughts. Once Crystalkit earned her apprentice name, the cats had to travel to a new place as the Twolegs came to the lake to build the Twoleg Bathing Place. Finally, after traveling for two moons, the four Clans finally found a suitable home. Their new home had no way of sharing tongues with StarClan so Crystalpaw didn’t really get a true approval to be a medicine cat. However, her mentor, the previous medicine cat, taught her well and she memorized the names and uses of each herb very well. She also knew where the best place to find certain herbs was and often comes back from searching herbs missions with her small mouth full of herbs that might be used at that moment. One night, Crystalpaw had a dream of her father, telling her to go to a waterfall that flows along the river separating ThunderClan and RiverClan. The next day when Crystalpaw woke up, she followed her father’s order to the waterfall. Once she reached the waterfall, she looked down into the pond and saw the reflection of her father and the other dead warriors. Then only she realized that she had found Moonfall, the perfect place to communicate with StarClan! Her mentor was overjoyed with Crystalpaw’s achievement and gave Crystalpaw her full medicine cat name – Crystalpelt.

Medicine Cathood:
The former medicine cat retired, allowing Crystalpelt to take her place. Now, all Crystalpelt wants to do is to help her Clan with all the strength and knowledge that she has.

The day was darkening down and the first star appeared on the dark blue sky.
“Look!” Rainbowkit nudged Crystalkit and pointed to the star that was shinning so brightly in the sky.
“What is it?” Crystalkit said in a soft voice, lifting her head to see what her sister had wanted her to see.
“See that star? I have got the feeling that it is our father, gazing down from the sky to check on us as when he did when he was still alive,” Rainbow said confidently.
“How I wish that he was still here so that he can see us getting apprenticed,” Waterkit added in.
Crystalkit closed her eyes and thought back about the days when her father was still around. He always stopped by the nursery whenever he had the time to check whether Rainbowkit, Waterkit and her were alright.
“It’s time to sleep now,” Sapphirecloud’s voice echoed from the nursery and one by one, the three kits entered the nursery and prepared to call it a day. Sapphirecloud knew who her kits were thinking about by their expressions and told them to gather around her.
“My kits,” she begun, “I know that your beloved father is gone but he would not rest in peace if he knew that all of his kits were sad thinking about him everyday.”
“But,” Crystalkit said, “I don’t think I can forget him during my whole lifetime!” Rainbowkit and Waterkit also agreed to what their sister had said earlier.
Sapphirecloud smiled to her kits and explained, “My dear kits, you do not need to forget your father. He may already be dead but his spirit will always be alive in your heart and you all will have to be more hopeful about yourselves. Remember, appreciate what you have now and always hope for the best tomorrow.”
Crystalkit’s eyes shone, her mother had helped her so many times before and now, she had helped her to overcome her grief for her beloved father.
“Don’t worry, mother, I will be more hopeful and positive thinking,” Crystalkit reassured her mother.
Soon, Crystalkit dozed off and in her dreams, she saw her father smiling and nodding at her. I will make you proud, father. I promise.
The next day, Crystalkit was awaken by the sound of her sister and another denmate quarrelling.
Back to everyday business, thought Crystalkit as she padded towards the two quarrelling kittens, determined to stop whatever they were quarrelling about.
