The first word that comes to mind while looking at Dragonstar is golden-pelted. It is because Dragonstar’s pelt is golden in colour and shimmers in a beautiful copper colour when shone by the strong sunlight. At night, Dragonstar has to be very careful because her golden pelt will not blend into the dark and stands out very obviously. She has a white underbelly which makes her look beautiful among other cats. Her eyes are green in color which looks like emerald orbs and they sparkle and glitter beautifully like a crystal. She also has a brown nose and a small white muzzle filled with sharp teeth that can harm any cat that stands in her way with one single deep bite. Her ears are small and pointed but that doesn’t mean that she can’t hear properly. Actually, her hearing is excellent as she can hear prey or danger approaching a few fox-lengths away. Besides, Dragonstar’s claws are sharp and as hard as a stone. She can tear open a prey or kill a prey without wasting much effort. Her legs are well-built with strong muscles which allow her to run as swift as lightning to the place she desires to go. Dragonstar is a strong healthy leader with many perfect appearances.
Personality:
When it comes to Dragonstar, the first word to describe her is curious. She is a curious cat which is always willing to learn and know about something. There was once when she was kit, she saw these red-colored berries growing somewhere near the bushes in the ThunderClan camp and picked one out and tried to taste it. If it weren’t for the medicine cat who came rushing by and snatching the berry from her, Dragonstar by then Dragonkit would be dead by now. When the medicine cat was explaining that these were the dangerous deathberries, the golden-pelted kitten wanted to know more about it and kept asking questions. Other than that, Dragonstar is a friendly cat that loves to make new friends wherever she goes. She is the kind of cat that really likes a friend’s company. Beside, she has an excellent sense of smell and is hyper-active. Dragonstar is slightly stubborn. However, whenever Dragonstar makes a mistake, she will apologize and try to make up for it. In fact, she is a loyal cat to the warrior code. That is why Dragonstar is loved by every cat, despite the fact that she is stubborn.
History:
Kithood: Dragonkit was born into the first litter of three by Wintercloud during the bitter cold season of leafbare. She had a brother called Tawnykit and a sister called Hazelkit. Although the three kits were born during leafbare, their mother took extra good care of them and made sure that they will not freeze. However, only two kits managed to overcome the cold season of leafbare because Hazelkit caught greencough and died two days after the getting the sickness as her body was already weakened by the cold. The kits’ father was Flamingsun, a skilled hunter and loyal senior warrior that was respected by every cat in ThunderClan. When Dragonkit was three and a half moons old, she caught her first prey – a fat, juicy vole and her parents were impressed with her tracking prey and hunting abilities. But unfortunately one sunset, Dragonkit’s brother persuaded her to go out hunting without their mother’s permission. Dragonkit didn’t seem happy about the decision but her brother said that everything will be all right. It was not all right, something went wrong. When Tawnykit was boasting about his hunting bird skills, an owl suddenly appeared from no where and grabbed Tawnykit with its sharp talons. Dragonkit witnessed her brother getting carried away by the owl, was terrified so she ran and ran back to the camp and told everyone about the tragic that happened to her brother and got a little scolding by Wintercloud, who was also heartbroken to lose another kit. Wintercloud who was expecting the second litter and Flamingsun really took care of Dragonstar since the tragic incident of Tawnykit and only then the she-cat realized that her parents’ love for her is infinite.
Apprenticeship: At 6 moons old, Dragonkit was apprenticed and her name was changed into Dragonpaw. During that period, the golden-pelted kitten trained very hard so that she can earn her warrior name as fast as possible. One day, ShadowClan attacked the camp and Dragonpaw was the only cat left in the camp but she endured the attacks and even distracted the ShadowClan attackers away from the Clan. Thus, her mentor who came back just in time to see Dragonpaw was very proud of her and promoted her to become a full warrior.
Warriorhood: Finally, Dragonpaw got her warrior name which was Dragonwing when she was only 11 moons old. She mentored one apprentice before becoming the deputy of ThunderClan. Then, she mentored another two apprentices after becoming deputy for five moons. Another three moons later, her leader which was on her last life died of greencough and so, Dragonwing became Dragonstar, leader of ThunderClan!
Role-play Example:
It was already sunset and the sky was growing darker. Soon, the sky will be covered by a dark blue cloth. Dragonkit who was gazing at the sky, searching for the star which represented Hazelkit, felt her brother, Tawnykit nudging her. “What is it, Tawnykit?” she meowed hesitatingly. “Let’s go out to the woods and hunt. Once there, I’ll show you how to catch a bird,” Tawnykit boasted. “But,” Dragonkit tried to protest, “Mother will be angry at us if we left the camp without her permission. In fact, kittens like us shouldn’t wander out the camp without a warrior with us!” “It’s all right. We’ll just sneak out from the bushes near the nursery and find an open space so that I can show you how to catch a bird. Then, we sneak back into camp,” the tawny-pelted kitten mew. Before Dragonkit could say another word, Tawnykit squeezed into the bushes behind the nursery and bounded towards an open space not far from the camp. “Wait,” cried Dragonkit, chasing after her brother. Tawnykit stopped at the middle of the open space and began to explain how he could catch a bird with one blow of his powerful paw. Then, a dark figure appeared on the sky and circled the area. “Are you going to catch that bird?” Dragonkit asked, beginning to get a bad feeling. “I think we should go home,” the golden tabby kit mew, starting to urge her brother to follow her. “No, I’m not going home. Not until I show how to catch a…” Tawnykit’s gentle voice was replaced by a loud meow of help and the sound of flapping wings as well as the hooting of an owl. Dragonkit stared in horror as she saw her brother being carried away by the owl and thought of saving him but she was given no chance to do so as the owl flew away with Tawnykit struggling in its powerful talons. “Tawnykit, please be safe wherever you go,” prayed Dragonkit as she ran towards the camp with tears in her eyes, thinking of the best way to tell her mother all about the tragic incident.
