Dovestar is a beautiful she-cat with a snow-white pelt. She is small and lithe, with a skinny tail and pale blue eyes. For a cat who didn't know her, her blue eyes may have signaled that she's blind. But it's quite the contrary. Dovestar has excellent vision, though her scenting has never been quite as good. She has small ears and small paws, and she loves to run across the Golden Square. Dovestar is an excellent fighter- despite her gentle nature, she is a fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect her Clan. Her thorn-sharp claws are excellent weapons, and she has mastered many unique battle techniques during her long stay in StarClan. She doesn't like using those techniques much, though, and always wished when she was alive not to be bothered by all the fighting and violence. Dovestar is currently looking for a mate to share her eternal life with.
Personality:
Dovestar is a gentle and compassionate she-cat. She is very romantic and hates to fight, however good she is at it. She is very understanding, and it takes a lot to get her angry. Even when she is angry, though, she never holds a grudge. Dovestar's idea of settling a fight is compromise, instead of bloodshed. The beautiful she-cat does have a humorous side, though, but prefers to keep herself calm and collected. She relaxes easily around cats she knows, and has many friends. She loves to meet new cats, and is always hoping for a potential mate to share her life with. Many cats have tried to gain her affection, but she has declined them all and still waits for the right cat. Dovestar enjoys the moments where she can sit on the Mirror Lake and have quiet moments either with herself or her friends.
History:
Dovestar was a well behaved kit. She never got herself into much trouble, though her two brothers dragged her along on many an adventure. Dovestar's mother was a ThunderClan cat named Sparkleheart, her father a RiverClan cat named Nettlebelly. She was born a half-Clan cat, and her only sister was taken to RiverClan with her father. She and her brothers were put into ThunderClan with their mother. As an apprentice, she was always excited to learn, always eager, yet somehow always managed to make herself look calm. As a warrior, she had a lot of taunting to deal with. Many cats accused her of being disloyal since she was a half-Clan cat. But she didn't care, and worked twice as hard to prove them wrong. Dovestar died in an accident. Three kits got stuck in the middle of the river one newleaf as the river thawed and flooded. She managed to get the kits to the other side of the river, where her companions saved them, but drowned when she was thumped on the head with a log and passed out. She was very popular in StarClan, and when the old deputy resigned, she was immediately given the job. When the leader later resigned, Dovestar was greeted openly and brightly to the job as leader.
Roleplay Example:
Dovestar sat on the edge of a large rock that jutted out from the side of Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake was her favorite place in StarClan territory. The beautiful white she-cat layed across the rock, her muzzle resting on her paws, her bright blue eyes closed. She listened to the waves gently lap up against the rocks below her. Suddenly, her stomach rumbled. Dovestar opened her eyes. "Guess I'll make myself useful," she grunted, and jumped up from the rock. She darted in the direction of the Sparkling Forest, and then stopped. Her eyes surveyed the flat terrain until she spotted a vole. She immediately sunk into hunting posture and crept up to the small rodent. It didn't notice the small, lithe she-cat who quietly snuck up on it. Suddenly, the wind changed direction. The vole immediately caught Dovestar's scent and darted off to the bushes. But Dovestar was too fast. She hissed and swiped a small, unsheated paw at the rodent. With a squeak, it was dead. She scooped it up and headed in the direction of StarClan camp. Perfect, she thought.
