Name: Indigopool Gender: She-cat Age: 28 moons Clan: ShadowClan Rank: Medicine Cat Mate: None, she can't. Kits: None, she can't as well. Appearance:
Indigopool is one beautiful white cat. She looks like a heap of fallen snow if she stays still for too long. Her eyes are big and watery. They are amber in colour and will sparkle at the sight of moonlight. Her nose is a light pink colour and she has a white muzzle which is filled with strong white teeth once opened. Indigopool has long whiskers that aid her in measuring the size of a hole she is going to go through. Besides, her pads are soft and white and they allow her to stalk quietly. Her legs are long and muscular, helping her to run fast for far distances. Indigopool's claws are sharp and she will gladly scratch any other cats who dare to harm her Clan mates.
Personality:
Indigopool is a pretty tabby she-cat. Her personality is gentle too. She is a caring cat as a medicine cat and she can be relied to do something. Indigopool always keeps her words and never breaks her promise. That is why almost all of the ShadowClan cats adore her. Indigopool is also very responsible as she never find reasons to get away from work. She is very hardworking and she is always finding out which are the best places to find certain herbs. This young white tabby she-cat is like a protective mother, especially when she cares for those who are sick or injured. However, Indigopool will scold the other cats if they behave too rudely or badly. Overall, Indigopool is a calm and kind medicine cat.
History:
Kithood: Indigokit was born to two loyal ShadowClan warriors during the late newleaf. She had a brother named Orangekit and a sister named Brownkit. But unfortunately, the two kits went missing one day and their bodies were never to be found. The other ShadowClan cats assumed that an eagle had carried them off and Indigokit's mother, Cherryflower was heartbroken so she died a few days after the tragic incident. Coincidentally, Indigokit's father, Marbleface was killed in a battle with a badger. Indigokit felt so lonely but she didn't feel so until she met Grassmeadow, the kind medicine cat of ShadowClan. Ever since Indigopool was still Indigokit, this little white kit loved to venture into the medicine cat's den and help the current medicine cat, Grassmeadow to sort out the kinds of herbs. So, the kind leader of ShadowClan decided to make her a medicine cat apprentice. Indigokit was so happy to hear the news when the ShadowClan leader told her about it.
Apprenticeship: At the age of 6 moons, Indigokit had her name changed into Indigopaw. And this white tabby she-cat was no ordinary she-cat - she was the medicine cat apprentice! The ShadowClan leader at that time felt that Indigopaw was the right medicine cat apprentice. This feeling was proved to be right when the current medicine cat received a vision of a pretty white she-cat tending to the ShadowClan cats' wounds the day before Indigopaw's apprentice ceremony. As a medicine cat apprentice, Indigopaw worked hard to memorize the names of each herb and what uses do they have. Eventually, Indigopaw could treat all kinds of injured cats without much trouble. Grassmeadow was very proud of her apprentice.
Medicine Cathood: Indigopool was forced to take up full medicine cat duties at the age of 14. Her mentor, the previous medicine cat, Grassmeadow died of greencough and Indigopool was saddened by this incident but soon, this white tabby she-cat learnt that Grassmeadow would be watching her above the skies of Silverpelt and returned to her own caring nature. Indigopool is a great medicine cat now and is respected by most of the ShadowClan cats.
Role-play Example:
To the medicine cat’s den! That was the first thought that hit Indigokit’s mind once she woke up. The young white kit padded out of the nursery and breathed in the gentle cool breeze that ruffled her fur. She walked slowly towards the medicine cat’s den, thinking excitely, I wonder what is Grassmeadow doing now. Will she teach me how to blend the various types of herbs? Soon, Indigokit reached the entrance of Grassmeadow’s den. Various smells of herbs wafted into the white kit’s nose, almost making her sneeze. However, Indigokit managed to avoid sneezing and called out, “Grassmeadow, it’s me, Indigokit! Can I come in?” The young white kittens’ tail twitched impatiently while she waited for the kind medicine cat of ShadowClan to reply.
