Leopardclaw is a rather oddly colored cat. She is mostly all gray, but has white paws, a white stomache that reaches all the way up to the bottom of her muzzle. In between her gray and white on the muzzle is a slight, very light orange. Her eyes are green, and they are often compared to the forest. Leopardclaw is a small cat, about 3/4th’s of the normal cat’s size. Her strength is not her greatest weapon in battle. What she lacks in size, she makes up in battle with speed and cunning. Her top left tooth is crooked, so it is a snaggle tooth, making using her teeth in battle challenging.

Leopardclaw is a loyal cat. She would do anything for her clan, Riverclan. Leopardclaw loves other cats. She hates being alone, and must be with another cat. Leopardclaw loves to patrol with other cats, to catch up on gossip. Leopardclaw is very shy when she first meets a cat, but she soon warms up to them and becomes very talkative. She will talk about anything- from earlier patrols, to Shadowclan’s repulsive stench, to who’s going to have who’s kits.

Kithood:
Leopardkit was born to the Deputy, Killfang, and her mother, a beautiful queen, Rustfur. Leopardkit was born with one other sister, Swiftkit, who looked just like Leopardkit right down to the snaggle tooth.. When she and her sister were only 3 moons old, there was a fire. It wasn’t big, but it raged in Riverclan camp, right next to the river. Rustfur swam Leopardkit and Swiftkit across the river, and dropped them on the other side. Rustfur then realized Killfang was still in camp. Rustfur told Leopardkit and Swiftkit to stay there until a warrior came to get them. Rustfur swam back. She and Killfang both died in the fire. But when the fire was dwindling down, Leopardkit and Swiftkit were still on the other side of the river, watching for signs of Riverclan cats. Swiftkit couldn’t take it though. She thought the clan life was too hard and too risky, so she ran away. All in one night, Leopardkit lost her father, mother, and sister. Leopardkit had no one, which caused her in the future to be shy with new cats, but reliant on cats she knows.

Apprenticeship:
Leopardpaw was apprenticed when she was six moons old. Her mentor was Willowpelt, an 60 moon old she-cat. Leopardpaw was Willowpelt’s last apprentice. Willowpelt and Leopardpaw worked very hard together, and Willowpelt worked on Leopardpaw’s speed rather than her strength, because Willowpelt soon noticed Leopardpaw was not as strong as a cat as others. So they worked mostly on Leopardpaw’s reflexes fishing and Leopardpaw’s ability to run around the opponent in battle.

Warriorhood:
Leopardclaw was made into a warrior at the age of 12 moons. Willowpelt was so proud of her apprentice, but was made into an elder a moon after Leopardclaw was made into a warrior. Willowpelt soon died three moons later when green-cough took her life. Leopardclaw was given an apprentice, Amberpaw. She worked hard with this apprentice, who soon grew bigger than Leopardclaw. But Leopardclaw ignored this fact and worked hard with her. Amberpaw was soon turned into a warrior and given a warrior name, Ambereyes after 7 moons of training.

Deputyship:
Leopardclaw was made a deputy at 40 moons. She was unexpecting to be made deputy, after the previous one, Frozenriver, died. Leopardclaw thought for sure another cat, who was stronger and more able bodied in the heat of battle. But she accepted it, and thanked Ebonystar over and over, for she didn't think she was worth deserving to be made a deputy.

Leopardclaw watched the shimmering water rush quickly down the river. The river seemed like life to her. It was going by so fast. Leopardclaw scanned the water for fish, but couldn’t find any. Leopardclaw hated hunting by herself. It was so lonesome, she couldn’t bear it. But she did it anyways- Riverclan needed fresh-kill. Leopardclaw hated being alone, ever since that fire. Leopardclaw shuddered at the thought of it, but refocused her attention to the water.

Leopardclaw looked carefully for a fish. She saw a silver thing flash in the water. It must be a fish, Leopardclaw concluded. The gray she-cat raised her white paw, ready to strike. Then, she quickly tried to pierce it. She unsheathed her claws when something slimy touched her paw. Leopardclaw picked up her paw and saw she caught a fish the length of her tail. Leopardclaw sighed. She put the fish on the bank, and then looked back into the rushing water, awaiting another fish to swim by.
